Det \u00e5 f\u00f8le vinden i h\u00e5ret, lukten av havet og kjenne p\u00e5 f\u00f8lelsen av \u00e5 v\u00e6re fri er b\u00e5de beroligende og frigj\u00f8rende. Jeg f\u00f8ler meg s\u00e5 heldig som har seiling som en hobby. For \u00e5 gj\u00f8re seilturen s\u00e5 komfortabel og g\u00f8y som overhodet mulig, s\u00e5 er det alltid en ting eller to jeg har i bakhodet n\u00e5r det kommer til det \u00e5 v\u00e6re til sj\u00f8s. \u00c5 v\u00e6re p\u00e5 TSR er ikke som de fleste andre ferier, og derfor kan det v\u00e6re lurt \u00e5 ta noen forh\u00e5ndsregler;<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Drikk nok vann- <\/strong>Det er viktig \u00e5 f\u00e5 i seg nok vann\/v\u00e6ske n\u00e5r man er p\u00e5 sj\u00f8en, og spesielt siden seiling krever at man er en del i aktivitet og holder fokuset oppe. Husk \u00e5 holde deg hydrert, slik at kroppen kan fungere 100%<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Ta med varme kl\u00e6r- <\/strong>Selv om det er sommer s\u00e5 er det fortsatt kaldt p\u00e5 sj\u00f8en. The Tall Ships Races vil ta plass i varmere str\u00f8k neste \u00e5r, men det er uansett lurt \u00e5 alltid ha med seg nok varme kl\u00e6r<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. F\u00e5 nok s\u00f8vn- <\/strong>S\u00f8rg for at du f\u00e5r sovet nok. Det kan v\u00e6re utmattende \u00e5 v\u00e6re til sj\u00f8s innimellom. Man er ofte i mye aktivitet p\u00e5 dagtid, i tillegg til \u00e5 ha nattevakt p\u00e5 kvelden \/ nattestid. Noen ganger kan man ogs\u00e5 oppleve d\u00e5rlig v\u00e6r, som igjen krever mer tid og energi. Dermed kan det v\u00e6re lurt \u00e5 f\u00e5 sovet litt n\u00e5r man f\u00f8rst har mulighet<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Husk solkrem- <\/strong>Seiling = aktivitet utend\u00f8rs. Som nevnt s\u00e5 vil TSR neste \u00e5r ta plass i mer sydlige str\u00f8k<strong>, <\/strong>som dermed betyr h\u00f8yere temperaturer og en h\u00f8yere UV indeks. Ta vare p\u00e5 huden, selv p\u00e5 sj\u00f8en<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. V\u00e6r sosial- <\/strong>Det er ikke alltid lett \u00e5 skaffe seg nye venner, men en av de virkelig kule tingene med the Tall Ships Races er at det er mange forskjellige typer mennesker som deltar hvert \u00e5r. Du er aldri helt alene, og det er alltid greit \u00e5 ha noen \u00e5 prate med, spesielt om man skulle ha en d\u00e5rlig dag<\/p>\n<p><strong>6. V\u00e6r fleksibel- <\/strong>Selv om det er deadlines, sjekkpunkter, og visse regler som m\u00e5 overholdes ift n\u00e5r skipene m\u00e5 v\u00e6re i havn , s\u00e5 kan uforutsette hendelser dukke opp. V\u00e6r s\u00e5 fleksibel som du kan, og s\u00f8rg for \u00e5 f\u00e5 med deg oppdateringer underveis. P\u00e5 denne m\u00e5ten kan du unng\u00e5 un\u00f8dvendig stress<\/p>\n<p><strong>7. HA DET G\u00d8Y <\/strong>\ud83c\udf89<strong>&#8211; <\/strong>Sist men ikke minst; Ha det g\u00f8y! Det er det the Tall Ships Races handler om \ud83d\ude03<\/p>\n<p><em>\/\/Sailing is amazing. Feeling the wind in my hair, the smell of the sea and the feeling of being free is calming and liberating. I am so blessed to have sailing as my hobby. To make my sailing voyages as comfortable and fun as possible, there is always a thing or two I keep in mind. The TSR is not a typical vacation, and therefore it is smart to take a few precautions;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>1. Drink enough water<\/strong>&#8211; It is important to drink enough water when being at sea. Especially since sailing requires a lot of movement and focus. Remember to stay hydrated so that your body works 100%<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>2. Bring warm clothing- <\/strong>Even though it is summer it can still be cold at sea. The Tall Ships Races will take place in slightly warmer waters next year, but bringing some extra warm clothing is always a good idea<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>3. Get enough sleep- <\/strong>Make sure to get enough sleep. Being at sea is exhausting at times. There is a lot of activity during the day, in addition to night watches. Sometimes bad weather also requires some extra energy and time, therefore it is important to rest when possible<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>4. Remember sunscreen- <\/strong>Sailing = staying outdoors. As mentioned the TSR will take place more south next year, which also means warmer weather and that the UV index will be higher. Take care of your skin, even at sea<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>5. Socialize- <\/strong>Making new friends is not always easy, but one of the really cool things about the Tall Ships Races is that there is a lot of different people participating. You are never truly alone, and having someone to talk to when things are difficult, means a whole lot.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>6. Be flexible- <\/strong>Even though there are deadlines, checkpoints, regulations for how and when the ships are supposed to be in port, there is always a slight chance that there might be change in plans. Be as flexible as possible and listen when there is updates on the regatta, to avoid unnecessary stress<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>7. HAVE FUN<\/em><\/strong>\ud83c\udf89<em><strong> &#8211; <\/strong>Last but not least; HAVE FUN!
